- Despite the repeated refrain in mainstream press that the movie avoided political judgements, it seems Paramount ran a big campaign to get conservative press and evangelical audiences interested in the movie, playing up the “AMERICA!” angle as well as well as lingering suspicion that Hillary Clinton personally killed all those people.

- No, I didn’t write about the marketing for last year’s Fantastic Four, but this set of poster concept art was both too good not to share but also too good to be used on that movie.
