Facebook Messenger Gets Brand-Friendly

New from me on PNConnect:

The News – Facebook has made it easier to use Messenger to contact brands by turning Page names into Messenger usernames. So those Pages with “/BrandName” URLs now can be messaged by using @BrandName. In addition to that, a new short link, “m.me/BrandName” mimics a Snapchat feature by providing a link or QR-like code that people can scan with their phones to start a Messenger conversation. Finally, brands can set a “welcome” message to basically start the thread when someone begins a Messenger conversation.
