I’m not saying that what that guy who spilled a beer on a Phillies outfielder at Wrigley Field did wasn’t wrong – it was – but the nationwide manhunt that has now come to an end with the true perpetrator turning himself in was a bit much, no? With all the stories about what he did and the search for The Real Spiller and the hand-wringing that went along with it about Cubs fans in general and alcohol-influenced behavior specifically, I was half expecting this story to end in gun fire outside The Biograph.
