  • Fox has promoted Carol Sewell to EVP of publicity and field marketing. Sewell has a history at Fox doing publicity work on campaigns for the Star Wars Special Edition re-releases, The Devil Wears Prada and many more.
  • SearchEngineWatch has Part 2 of their efforts into raising the online presence of Reservation Road. It’s an extremely interesting read, if for no other reason than to see what’s possible by people with a vested interest in doing just that.
  • Blockbuster is bleeding money, laying off employees and cutting customers from the Total Access program. All that adds up to Consumerist using a Mortal Kombat screenshot in this story declaring Netflix the winner of the home video distribution wars.
  • GSD&M will create two spots for the Shrek the Third home video release that also promotes the HD-DVD format.
