Fortissimo Films, a smaller arthouse distributor, has agreed to make their movies available for download at Jaman.com.- I love the fact that the Academy has asked Jon Stewart to come back and host the Oscar ceremony again. Let the guy find a groove. He was, I agree, too smart for the room last time and I hope that his second outing is no exception.
- Despite the widespread opinion that Ratatouille disappointed at the box-office the movie has apparently inspired a wave of renewed interest in French cuisine, with some restaurants even hosting themed evenings.
- Aardman Animation, home of Wallace & Gromit and other characters, has signed a licensing deal with HIT Entertainment, the same company that handles duties for the Barney and Thomas the Tank Engine properties.
