My buddy Mack Collier has been working this new meme of sharing your list of off-the-beaten path blogs and has a list compiled from everyone’s list.

Let me add my two cents on this, some of my favorite feeds that I never see on anyones blog rool:

A Perfectly Cromulent Blog: Pete Vonder Haar is a great writer whom I originally met during my time with FilmThreat. Pete has some of the sharpest commentary around. Pete is the very model of the kind of writer more news outlets need to be hiring.

Adverlicio.us: James always does a great job of finding the latest new ads and organizing them in one convenient location. An indispensable resource for anyone looking for online ads.

Laugh It Up Fuzzball: Tracy is a hoot.

FilmPlug: Kirk Skodis probably doesn’t post as much as he (or the rest of us) would like to but when he does it’s something that’s completely worth reading.

Market My Monkey: I still haven’t forgiven Kate for stealing my MMM acronym but I’ve looked past that. She’s a lot of fun to read and someone I’ve grown to appreciate and respect greatly. Plus she’s a Christopher Guest fan who appreciates random “Buffy” quotes.

And here’s the rest of Mack’s list that he’s put together from everyone else’s posts and comments. A lot of the ones I would have chosen were already on that list and I’m going to have to make sure I’m subscribed to all these. Thanks, Mack, for doing more than anyone else I know to bring attention where it deserves.

  1. Hey, thanks darlin! I appreciate the plug…and being called a “Z-lister”. Does this mean that Kathy Griffin trumps me?

    Now I’m depressed.

  2. Thanks for the shout-out, Chris. Much appreciated.

  3. This has really taken off and had a huge impact on my blog’s traffic and ranking. I can’t thank all of you that participated in this exercise enough! I’ve worked hard on my blog in the last year and it’s nice to see it take off in recent months.

    Regards,
    Doug

The Z-list is the embodiment of this quote. Thanks for adding us.

    Thanks,
