Over at AdJab I wrote up a post based both on this story and an email interview I did with Ian Schafer, founder of Deep Focus, on online marketing agency specializing in movie’s online efforts. Schafer is a former executive at Miramax who went out on his own to found Deep Focus in 2002. Since doing so he continued to work with Miramax and now has won the online creative account for The Weinstein Co. Congrats to Ian and the rest of Deep Focus on this win and I’ll look forward to talking to him further in the future.
