Usually I try to write a plot synopsis of these movies but I’m not sure what to do with this one. Something about a writer and time travel, but honestly I just couldn’t make heads or tails of it. Good luck to the rest of you who are probably much smarter than I am.

The Poster

Pretty slick with a kind of collage feel to it, this poster does a good job of sticking out from the crowd of glorified head shots and other examples of Photoshop hackery. These independent, non star-driven vehicles often show scenes instead of just people and this one does just that. It’s got a cool overall feel to it with it’s vibrant colors and still images.

The Trailer

I realize that comparing the style of new movies to Blade Runner is more than tired at this point but honestly that’s the first thing that comes to mind when I view this trailer. With lots of neon and amazingly tall buildings Ridley Scott’s sci-fi noir epic for better or worse set a milestone that has been visually referenced dozens if not hundreds of times.

So that’s the look of the trailer. In terms of plot it’s a bit shadier. It seems there’s something about time travel, some lovers or pairs of lovers and a bitchin’ fast train. It looks very cool and is definitely worth checking out.

The Website

I’d love to tell you about it but the computer I’m using doesn’t have Flash and since that’s how all these sites are designed it’s impossible for me to get in. The trailer plays when you pull up the front page but that’s all I can tell you.

Overall

Intriguing if nothing else. I’m unfamiliar with the directors other works but will check them out. I’m a little afraid this will be all flash and no substance but something tells me that won’t be the case.
