Connect With Movie Marketing Madness Elsewhere

MMM Logo - Red NameNow that I’ve got the actual editorial process for Movie Marketing Madness more or less down (though there’s a lot of “wow, I need to finish this column now because it’s scheduled for tomorrow so I’d better start writing” still happening) I’m ready to begin making a more concerted effort to spread the reach of MMM elsewhere. That’s part of a realization on my part that, as I’ve mentioned before, the media landscape has changed in the last couple years. So while the “drive people to a owned hub” model is still very much the one I cling to and is part of the reason I decided to revitalize this blog and the MMM editorial concept, not everyone is an RSS addict like me. That means I’ve created Movie Marketing Madness outposts elsewhere. Here’s where to connect with the column off-domain:

  • TinyLetter: Subscribe here to get Movie Marketing Madness columns – the full campaign reviews, not other posts – via email at or around the same time the columns go live here on the site.
  • Facebook: Mostly the full campaign review columns as well as links to the other movie marketing-related posts I write here.
  • Twitter: Anything I publish about movie marketing, including both the full columns and other, newsier items, will be shared here. I also share random stories about movie marketing there, including items I don’t write longer posts about.
  • Tumblr: ibid
  • Flipboard: ibid again

Hopefully this covers just about everything. I’m particularly excited about the email version, which just launched the other day since email newsletters are very much a hot topic in the media world right now and for the last year or two. Yes, there’s an “audio” element missing here but I’m not quite ready to make that leap right now. Not saying it won’t happen, but it would require quite a bit more planning and a lot more time on my schedule.

If you’re looking to connect with me as an individual you can find me on Twitter, LinkedIn, Tumblr and Facebook in order of how active I am on each platform. Twitter for me is more a fun outlet for the voices in my head as well as occasional sharing of industry-specific or other interesting articles. I’m much more on-topic and serious on LinkedIn. Tumblr for me is more or less permanently off-topic and where I share the sort of random general news things that I find interesting. And Facebook is…well, I just don’t use Facebook a lot.

I hope that all helps you find MMM wherever you are. If you’re liking my renewed efforts with this feature go ahead and sign-up, follow or whatnot on the platform of your choice and share things with your friends. This is all still getting ramped up so every little bit of lift helps and is appreciated.
