TechCrunch crosses the one million RSS readers mark.

I’ve long argued that RSS readers are as important – if not moreso – a metric as site visits and its related itterations. That’s because those readers have taken positive action to read that site’s latest content, and the content that’s read is the newest and freshest. So if you’re a PR person pitching a blog look at the RSS readers and not the site traffic since much of that is coming to pages that don’t have your news on them.

Anyway, congrats on the milestone to Michael Arrington and his crew.
